| I for one am glad to see another year. Last year was filled with death and saddness most of the time we just got back from Osage IA attending Aunt Ella's funeral this is the 32 death this last year among family and friends and that takes a toll we attended 3 funerals one week and now I sit here wondering who is next and that is terrible. On a happier note the weather was great we spent the night in Des Moines IA and God was looking out for us because the next morning cold 2 above zero but the first 30 miles the ditches looked like parking lots, with cars in the ditch some foreward some backward and some on the side. The road in this stretch was black ice and then some visual ice. We got to Osage at 1045 in the morning and left the same afternoon for the trip home at 3:30 and got home at 5:30 the next morning because I had to be to work on 1/1/2010 now that seems strange too since it just turned 2000 or hav eI been asleep!!! Good news for 2010 our grandson will soon be moving into his house and for that we are thankful. It has been long for him getting everything done to satisfy the financial people but it is coming soon pray for him thanks have a great 2010 |
