We had a great day!

We are having a great time in Charleston. We invited Betty and Gene to visit us, they are staying at the Residence Inn. We have had a great time eating out together and exploring Charleston.

We are celebrating everyone's birthday early, while we have the time together. Betty and Gene took us to the Indian Restaurant for my birthday. (1-9) Then we celebrated Jerry's birthday the next day at Jestine's. (2-16) Jerry ordered fried chicken and he got two huge chicken breast. None of us have ever seen such large pieces of chicken. We laughed so hard we could hardly eat. Even the waitress said she would hate to run into that size chicken alive. :-)

We also took a tour of the city by trolley. It was only $5 and you can get on and off as often as you choose. It was a great way to see downtown Charleston without having to drive.

We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a very blessed New Year. More later from Charleston.
