We had a layover day in Keizer, Oregon today to wait for our friends Heather and Peter to arrive. We spent the morning doing a few errands; I did a load of laundry and we went to Camping World to replace a light fixture that was burnt out. We also stopped at Costco where I bought the new WII Fit (thanks Mom for my Christmas present) I’ll be using that a lot along the way to try and stay in shape since I won’t be able to get out and walk as often as I’d like while we are on the road. Our friends made the trip without any trouble and we have had a wonderful afternoon catching up. They are driving a brand new motor home and it looks like this is their shakedown cruise, so we may be seeing a very steep learning curve happening here. We had a nice dinner here at the Elks lodge and will head off down the road together in the morning.
