The Diamond
Pink Road
| Today we started out with the sun shining. We got off the interstate at Gray Summit and found a geo at The Diamonds now gone restaurant. Got back on I44 and then got off in Lebanon which is about half way through MO for Route 66. We missed the turn and got on some pink, real narrow, no shoulder, rolling hills road. Denny was real happy with that. Finally back on I44 and decided that Missouri Route 66 was not motor home user friendly. Will try the Oklahoma 66 tomorrow, but we did find a brand new casino 7 mile west of Joplin MO to spend the night with free electric hookup. Woo Hoo |
