It felt a bit cool when we awoke this morning. I checked the internet and found that it was still down.
I then dressed for walking with the guys. Heinz, Gilbert, Jesse and I walked nearly four miles this morning.
When we returned to the RV, Marilyn had the coffee ready so we sat with our morning coffee, talking about our day ahead.
Marilyn fixed a fine breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, and orange juice.
Once breakfast was finished, I helped with the dishes and then we got ourselves ready to go shopping.
We drove east to Harlingen, where we located the Target store. After that stop, we went across the street to the Mall, where we found the gift for Colby that we were searching for.
We looked around in many stores but there was nothing that we could not live without.
Back home once again, we visited with friends, and spent much of the wonderful afternoon just enjoying ourselves.
Jesse & Ginger walked over to visit, and then Carl & Linda joined us. Louise stopped as she was walking her dog, and Jan came over to sit with us for awhile.
We took a tour of Carl & Linda’s new 2010, 38’ Mobile Suites.
It is beautiful, as expected, and we enjoyed seeing their new home.
Most of our group of friends were going to the Clubhouse tonight for the dinner and karaoke. Marilyn & I decided to forego this pleasure and stay home with a bowl of hot, home-made soup, followed by home-baked cookies and some Blue Bell Vanilla Bean ice cream.
We hope to find a movie to watch on TV, and relax for a quiet evening at home.
The temperatures are supposed to remain cooler than normal for the next few days. Bummer!
So, let’s just wait to see what tomorrow has in store…..
