We survived the bus journey from Rio to Iguaçu, which ended up being 23 hours, followed by a further 2 local buses to get to the hostel. The bus was freezing so a friendly Brazilian lent us her baby daughters extra blanket.
The falls were much better than expected and we have approx 50 photos to prove it (don`t worry we won`t bore you with them all)! They are apparently the widest in the world although not that high. We were lucky to see them in the rainy season although we managed to get absolutely soaked by the spray.
We are now in the middle of a heatwave and the locals keep complaining to us how hot it is. Not the best day to travel across to Argentina so let`s hope their passport control is quick!
