We sailed out of Aswan in the early afternoon and therefore had plenty of daylight to enjoy the scenery. We were 8 ppl on the felucca and 2 crew, who were responsible for getting us to Kom Ombo as well as preparing all of our meals …with all that said it was a very relaxing 2 days! Day one we drank and played some drinking games with the our felucca mates until we anchored at a Nubian house for dinner. After dinner on the Felucca we went to smoke some shisha and chill. A few of our mates ( all being Australians) got hammered - one falling off the felucca in the middle of the night, but Mike and I remained sober, however some alcohol would have helped as it was FREEZING at night. Our second day started at sunrise, and after breakfast we set sail for the day. Since everyone was tired or hungover it was a nice and chill day. We stopped for lunch at a nice sandy beach for a swim and after sailing for a few more hours we anchored at a beach for the night. There was a bonfire after dinner with music and dancing performed by all the crew members from all feluccas (as there were 4 feluccas sailing together). It was a nice experience. After another rough night of sleep we sailed to Kom Ombo to be transferred by bus to our next destination. I would definitely love to do it again!!
