We've been in Indianapolis since Saturday. We are leaving this morning and heading to Springfield, IL.

While in Indianapolis, we visited the Indianapolis Speedway and President Benjamin Harrison's home and burial place. The speedway has a great museum with a lot of the old cars. It's hard to imagine some of these cars racing. In the early days a lot of the cars were entered by the car companies. We rode the track in a bus.

While waiting for the tour at the Harrison home, a man joined us. In talking with him, I asked where he was from and he told us he was originally from CT, now living in Virginia Beach. We asked where in Ct and he looked at us kind of funny and said Willimantic. You can imagine his surprize when we told him our daughter went to ECSU and that we lived in Ellington. It really is a small world.

The campground here is not anywhere as nice as the one we were staying at in Ohio, but was adequate. We were having trouble with water pressure on the whole trip and yesterday Brad went over to the RV dealership next to the campground (just happens to be a Newmar dealer) and bought a new on board filter. It turns out that the filter we had put in last July was the wrong filter. It has made a tremendous difference.

Better run since Brad is waiting for his breakfast - then we will hit the road.
