Living in Chile is like stepping into a time machine... - Oct 30, 2009

The other night in my house, I spent some time with my host brother and some of his friends over some piscola. (pisco and coke). I soon realized that not only do Chileans dress like they live in the 80's/90's, but they're also very behind on music. My favorite part of the night could have been when the song "Barbie Girl" came on. All the chilean 20 somethings started singing and really got into the song. My host brother turned to me and said "This is a really good song isnt it?" I couldn't help but think of my 4th grade self loving this song...almost 15 years ago!
