The heavy rain...
The lunch...
Nothing happened today.
We woke up around 8am in the morning after the girl in the next bed had set her alarm clock ringing but strangely enough, didn’t seem to wake her and we were woken up instead.
We quickly realized that it was pouring down heavily outside with horrible thunder so there wasn’t much incentive for us to hurry outside. Instead, we decided to take it easy and see how the weather fared.
Originally, we were planning to visit Museum Evita today in the suburbs as I have grown to be quite fond of her after the musical Evita. However, from the hostel to the museum is still a bit of a journey and under this weather we will be absolutely soaked within 10 minutes (if not also struck by the lightning as well…) After all we thought that Evita is not worth putting our lives in serious health risk.
We spent the rest of the day interneting and reading in the hostel. Around 2pm we went out to the restaurant round the corner to have a big steak lunch complimented with local delicacies. After enjoying our rather big lunch, the rain was still pouring down heavily and we headed straight back to the hostel and spent the rest of the day doing next to nothing.
A very relaxing day.
