Leaving Mendoza, heading to the Chilean border

Queue at the Argentina/Chile border
The journey from Mendoza to Santiago was stunning, so we thoroughly enjoyed it, until that is we got to the Argentina/Chile border...
Unfortunately there was some sort of strike on at immigration which meant that there was about a 1km queue to get across which resulted in a 4 hour wait to get across!!
We had a lovely time in Santiago exploring the city and it's parks - although for the first time during our trip we had some rain and it was cloudy the whole time we were there.
