A snowy drive over Montana mountains

Aren't they gorgeous

Northern Montana

Big Sky Country

Good to be back in Canada

Enjoying our grandson, Owen

This really isn't a "ride on" but Owen sure loved it

It was a cold -3 degrees Celcius as we hooked up and pulled out of the Merry Widow Campground this morning. The highway over the pass and through the mountains of northern Montana were icy with snow and slushy sections so we were thankful for the new tires we had put on the truck last week. North of Great Falls the roads were clear so we had a good drive the rest of the day. Driving through the plains of northern Montana one can see why it is called “Big Sky Country”. We crossed the border into Canada without any problem. Feels good to be in our homeland once again!! Driving 675 kilometers, we arrived at Langdon, Alberta and Jason & Amanda’s place just in time for supper and to spend time with our grandson Owen. We plan on spending a few days here before continuing on.
