10/09/09--Drove up to Adams so Junior could do some warranty work on the RV. He had us ready to go by noon. Filled the truck with fuel Freeway Grocery, got some lunch at McDonald's and hit the road. We spent the night at a Walmart Store in Wilkes-Barre, PA as we were both exhausted. 10/10/09--Arrived at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp - Resorts, Po Box 266, State Route 782, 16 Recreation Lane, Natural Bridge Station, VA 24579 (540- 291-2727) about five-thirty in the evening. The sites were small...not a place we would care to return to. The facilities at this campsite includes...swimming pond, swimming pool, water slide & spray playground, recreation hall, fishing river (James River), fishing pond (pay by the fish) and horseshoes. While we were there the camp held many Halloween activities as you can see from the photographs. 10/11/09--Hung out for the day. 10/12/09--Up early drove through from VA, TN, LA to Bay St. Louis, MS staying in rest-stops and Walmarts in between. |
