We then drove 2-3 hours to Frankfurt airport early in the morning. We did this because Chika was able to get all 3 of us Standby tickets.

Chika and I only had standby tickets for all our trips. From DC to Munich we left the day early and got lucky.

We had to get to Rome. We all only had Standby ticket. In Rome we had an appointment to get to the Vatican Museum at 1500hrs. We also had to meet our B&B owner at 1300hrs.

Dad also had a confirmed ticket from Rome to IAD.. So basically we had to get to Rome.

A ticket from Frankfurt to Rome costs around $900, Chika got them for about $90 (ninty) only.

We got to the airport and all flight were full. I was worried we wouldn't make it to see the museum because it was closed on Sundays.

The lady said you all can sit on the "jump" (flight attendant) seats. Chika got to go to business class and dad and I went to the galley. We ended up getting seats after all. Without us getting on this flight we would have miss seeing one of the main attractions for us the museum of the Vatican.
