Just wanted to let everyone know that we fly out of Madrid in the morning. We land in Bangkok at 6:30am (Oct 16) Thailand time which is 14 hrs ahead of the States. We haven't done much in Madrid. It's too much city for us. But we got in some good rest and got all ready for Thailand. Also, not doing much saved us lots of money!
We have booked about 2 weeks so far. We are doing a few days in Bangkok, a few in a beach near Krabi, two in Phuket, 5 in Bophut Beach on Koh Samui island, and then hopefully getting in Loas a little. We want to visit a cool river spot known for excellent tubing called Vang Vieng. Then we will return to Bangkok for a couple days before we fly out.
We're still happy and healthy. Talk to everyone in a couple days.
