| We went to Galveston to go on a cruise so we didn't really spend any time here. There was an interesting experience tho. We took a ferry across the bay to Galveston and saw at least one hundred dolpins on this fifteen minute ferry ride. I have never seen so many dolphins in such a small area. We rode along the beach for a while and there is still much re-building to do from the most recent hurricane. Reminded me of the destruction of Katrina in Mississippi. Maybe one day we will go back and spend some time in Galveston. |
