We landed in the city of Jaipur in the early hours of the 9th October. Absolutely shattered we headed straight to the hotel, where we had a fantastic nights sleep. The following day we had planned to take a tour of the town, but in honesty we were still extremely tired, and given that we were catching at train at 5.30am on the morning of the 10th October to Agra we decided that we just needed to chill. I have to say that that the hotel was clean and one with the biggest rooms yet, in addition it had the BEST shower in the entire of India we had about three or four showers each, the cleaniest we have felt since we arrived. Given our new state of cleanliness, we felt it was deserved to break out somw new knicks (dirty mingers!!) Whilst at the hotel we met with two men from New Zealand, one a Dr in Auckland Gareth, and the other Frazer, who knows what he did he was just FIT, and i spent my time drooling over him. Sadly I was dressed in my PJ's at the time and had more chance of pulling a rickshaw. Sarah was on hand to pass me tissues to wipe away the drool!! We had a good chat about travelling and different places, they warned us, like all other travellers we met about Agra being horrendous and Varanasi being hectic, mmmmmm can't wait to get there. We left the hotel once for antibiotics as my cough which I left England with remained, and despite one course of Antibiotics I was still coughing up a lung and it was beginning to really piss me off. I have to say the one outing was enough it was hot hot hot and hectic, so we retired to our hotel and ordered more room service. Preparing for our early morning travel with more sleep!!
