| Encountered snow in higher elevations as we drove south from Colorado Springs. Very light snow, no accumulation on road, just on windshield and on the ground on the side of the road. KOA in Clayton has somewhat larger than normal KOA size sites and all sites level. This is far enough away from 287 that you dont hear the road noise. Good place to stay over nite or for a few days if you need to get off of the road. |
