Hello to All,

Just a short update to let everyone know we have departed home base and heading down to Cordelle, Ga. via Manchester, Tn. We will stay in Manchester at the Whispering Oaks Campground until Monday (hopefully) and then continue on down to Cordelle via I-24 and I-75. We wanted to take some time before heading out to South Ga to visit with Chris's mom who is still recovering from her stay in the hospital back in August.

The campground is a small campground located off I-24 near exit #105. Big oak trees are everywhere and it is very quiet here. We have good Verizon cell service and good internet connection here via the 3G verizon network. That is nice.

We have had a lot of rain and wind here last night and it still continues to drizzle now. Temps down in the 40's last night. So, we will have to wait until we get to south Ga to get back into summer time again.

Our stay at Veterans will be until Nov 1st. We will be volunteering on the SAM Excursion Train again. Thomas The Tank Engine will be highlighted the last 2 weekends in Oct. So, that will be fun to work.

I will update the log when we get settled at Georgia Veterans State Park in Cordelle. Please pray for us as we journey that we will have good health, good roads and the truck stays healthy.

Please check out a few photos I have included in this update. Also, please leave us a message in our guest book if you like.

In Dad's memory the adventure continues...................

Later Alligators,

Archie, Chris and Chad the wonder dog
