It's another day of cool temperatures & rain, but Wally & I decide to brave the elements regardless. Our meanderings today take us to the birthplace of famous authoress Lucy Maud Montgomery, whose beloved books have been treasured by readers young & old for many years, myself included. How delightful to ramble through one of her favorite places, 'Silver Bush' house -to discover that the author has written 22 novels, and to browse through rooms containing so many of her cherished treasures.

Our roamings led us to discover a few more lighthouses, an old abandoned gravesite, more ocean sightings, a toy factory and a covered bridge complete with a couple of water wheels, that is currently under construction in Hunter River.
