We awoke to these awesome mountains outside our B&B. The night before we couldn't see anything because we got there late.

(Tired fact of the day: I'm eating gummie bears...)

After we ate breakfast at the hotel with an awesome view of the mountains..

We then drove about 20 minutes to Konigsee to see Saint Barts chapel. This is a 35 minutes boat tour, while in the middle of the lake, the capt. stops the boat and starts to play a trupet and you hear it echo against the rocks. Yodelay hee hoooo..

We then didn't realized how close we were to Hitler's Eagle's nest (Kehsteinhaus)

After that nice trip we drove 2 hours to Fussen, near Schwangau to prepare for tomorrows trip of castle viewing.. good night too tired..

Tomorrow: Castles, long drive, Mainz

Next Day: Celebrate Mike's B Day by eating extra apple strudel.
