Chika and I decided to try and get a flight on Saturday instead of Sunday. We (I) were worried about us not getting a flight on Sunday then dad would have been here by himself so we got lucky and got two seats for the Saturday flight.
Anyhow, we got to Munich and then we're lost (mentally) because the computer wouldn't work, to find our cheap hotel. We had to buy the wifi connection and then we got our hotel. Bought two Day passes for the train and found our hotel. It was out in the suburbs and the next stop after the FC Bayern Munich Stadium, pretty cool.
Dad is now in the air, just left IAD about a half hour ago.
Chika is now sleeping, and I'm charging the electronics with tree and gerardo's convertors. THANKS!!
The hotel is cheap, but just what we need, only a place to sleep. It's clean and has shower and bathroom in the room.
Chika and I got lucky!!! We went to OKTOBERFEST!!!

To us, who are used to Disney, King's Dominion, and Busch Gardens, this Oktoberfest (the rides,stands,food stalls) is kind of like a county fair. So, besides that everyone wears their Laderhosen (spell) is was ok. The food was great and inside the large beergarden buildings/tents... now that was Oktoberfest to us.. We didn't "sitzen eatzen" but just the atmosphere was AWESOME.. everyone standing on their chairs, drinking, singing with the umpa band.. to me that's how I imagined Oktoberfest.
Well, I'll tell you this.. this is the first day so I'm sure each day's journal will get shorter and shorter.. Gotta sleep dad gets here in about 5 hours and its almost 1am.
