|Today I woke up a little later and after a great breakfast at my hostel, I checked out. I left my stuff there so that I could go and say good-bye to my friends at the carpet shop. I was sad to leave and they were all trying to get me to stay, including everyone at the hostel. I must of had about 7 or 8 cups of tea on my way out. I was also treated to a traditional Turkish breakfast at the shop and it was incredible.
So I left Selcuk and headed for Bodrum. It's suppose to be the Turkish St. Tropez. I got into Bodrum right after sunset. It was a 5 hour bus ride and I had a brief conversation with some Turkish girls from Frankfort, Germany, who could only speak Turkish and German. I got kind of bored with them quickly because they probably new even less English than the French guys.
My hostel here is a complete shit hole, but the views are nice of the Aegean Sea. I showered and decided to walk into town and get something to eat. The scene here is mainly old British people. I kept walking around for a few hours because I was told that the nightlife starts at 12. I then ended up running into the German girls from the bus and the asked me to join them out. We went to this bar/dance club and I hung out with them all night. I had to do the whole charades thing again. I don't know how I get into some of these situations, but I am really having fun with it now. I had a really good time. Much better than I was having before. Turkey has really turned around for me. I'm having so much fun.
