Celebrating catching up with Anika in Paris

He was celebrating with us as well.

Excellent pianist at the restaurant

So good of them to name an institute after me

We drove to Orleans for a short stop to see the statue of Joan of Arc.

Chartres - magnificient & very famous 13th century Gothic Cathedral. It is crowned by twin spires (one Gothic and the other Romanesque). It completely dominates this very beautiful medieval town.

Paris - as we drove back in we went through the tunnel wher Princess Diana had her accident - eerie! On to the Louvre to drop people off & then Simeon got me a taxi and I was off to meet Anika at our hotel. We spent a wonderful late afternoon & evening exploring Montmartre and the Sacre Coure by metro.

Dinner was in Montmartre and 2 very weary ladies stumbled home later that night.

Good to catch up with Anika again - lovely lady.
