Dinosaurland to Moab, UtahSep 21, 2009

| We took a couple of hours this morning to check out the dinosaur fossils in the Dinosaur quarry in Vernal. We had fun walking the trails and seeing the rock formations, but never did actually see many fossils. We decided to go on to Moab and perhaps come back to visit this area later when we had more time. The ride to Moab took us through high mountains, that in turn had extremely quick descent and hairpin turns. The mountains around us turned from gray to a brilliant orange as we got closer to Moab - so beautiful! We found a great RV a short distance from Arches National Park and plan to explore the park tomorrow. |
