| Thursday 24th Sept Arrived In Indonesia, where we were greet by Patty Waterfall (Heath).after a 40min flight but yet 1hr behind Singapore! After lunch at here beautiful house in the jungle, we went on a drive around to see the differents areas of wealth and poverty ( a real i opener) before going and taking a walk around a picturess lake... seeing long tailed monekeys, wild bore. After meeting up with Adrain and the Girls (Jasmin & Abi, 10yrs) we went to see the elephants, where we feed, rode and washed the elephants!! Which we both thoroughly enjoyed! Friday 25th Sept Looked around a local market...open every day. Where all the produce was fresh, and once gone is was sold out for quite a while. Millie and i got the chance to sit in an Indonesian taxi bike!! Before going on a 20 mins jungle walk. Flew to Batam... an Island 30mins away from sumatra... still in Indonesia. Where we ferried it across to Singapore an night fall. After heading out of cumstoms... we ended up having a look around the Waterfront area of singapore before heading back to yet Singapore Airport for an early flight out to Perth, Australia. |
