This morning I met Joyce, Brenda and her husband, Kim, and their little five-year-old grandson, Mason, at church at 8:30. We went to Sunday School afterwards. I had planned to meet Randy and his family at church and to follow them home to spend the afternoon. Unfortunately, his wife, Brenda, had injured her back yesterday and had to be taken to the hospital. She is under heavy sedation today.
For lunch Kim, Brenda, Joyce, Mason and I went to the Panda Palace. They have a large buffet. I got small portions of only a few of the dishes and still had too much food. I enjoyed every bite, though. The message in my fortune cookie was "The principle part of faith is patience." Ouch!! That hit me right between the eyes!
My patience with Medicare is about at an end. I've been dealing with them for over three and a half years about my shoulder injury case. I didn't sleep well last night because I was angry about the latest requirement. Of course, that didn't help at all.
When I got back to the RV park, I paid for two more nights (through Tuesday). I'm feeling very tired and just need some down time to rest. I also need to do some research on the next segment of my trip.
