It was a nice relaxing day...well, sort of. Fed-ex arrived first thing this morning with our refrigerator door, thank goodness. Larry had Mickey-Mouse'd it together while we waited for our delivery, but I was positive it was going to land on my toes every time I opened it! Fortunately for me, it didn't. Our priority mail package did not arrive, so we'll be sticking around another day to see if it arrives tomorrow. Can't believe we've been here a week on Sunday already.
Anyway, we went into Kalispell early today and stopped at Costco first. I was low on turkey jerkey and Onyx was low on her chicken jerkey. Those are pretty close to what one might call emergencies! And Larry needed to replenish his cashews. Our flannel sheets are getting very tired, so we decided to try a set of fleece ones for the coming winter season. Next stop was a haircut for me. And a much needed pedicure. Wow, I feel like a new woman!
We enjoyed a nice lunch at Sizzler, did a couple of more errands and then stopped at Jeff's to see if we could help him get a computer monitor working. We couldn't unfortunately, but we tried. Then we made a quick trip home to change clothes and deal with Onyx. She was ready for dinner and a trip outside. We needed to be back in Kalispell within an hour to attend a play with Jeff.
We arrived with 5 minutes to spare and located the tickets being held for us at the box office. Tonights presentation was 'Arsenic and Old Lace', done by the Wolfpack Theatre Company. It was fantastic! They did such a nice job, we haven't laughed so hard in ages. You may know that Arsenic and Old Lace is about as unrealistic as it gets: little old ladies killing little old men to better the world. But what is that old saying? "Laughter is the closest distance between two people?" How true tonight...The best part was watching Jeff's face as he cheered and laughed for his friends and fellow actors. A truly wonderful evening for us.
Tomorrow we are going to visit Glacier National Park. Even though we were there in 2006, we're looking forward to it again. Such a beautiful area. Hope we get some nice pics. Please stop back by to check them out...Goodnight
