| Friday, August 7, 2009 Got ready for our drive to Montgomery, Alabama to meet with Carrie. Met Carrie at 12:30pm at the Flying “J” Truck Stop. This way we were able to stay on I-65 and head on up to Indiana. Said our “Goodbyes” to Ernestine which was sad. Hated to say goodbye, we will miss her. Have enjoyed being with her and mother this past month and a half. We drove as far as Decatur, Alabama for the night. We stayed at the Point Mallard Campground. It was a very nice place with lots of trees. It was right next to the Golf Coarse and Tennis Courts. The sites were gravel but very nice place. We had to drive thru a subdivision with really nice big houses. We have been 802 miles since we left Orlando on Monday. |
