Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

After a great night of solid sleep, we awoke to a very nice day. Oh, the humidity is still quite high compared to what we have become used to, while in Colorado, but the temperature is good. LOL

I had agreed to give cave tours today, but I tried to get a few chores done first.

I washed the rear window of the RV and rinsed off the van.

Marilyn did laundry and I tried to make myself look like a tour guide.

The first tour had 15 people going to Cameron cave and they were a very good group. We had a lot of fun.

The second tour had only four people but the two adults and two young girls were all nice to have along and I enjoyed giving the tour as much as they enjoyed seeing the cave.

I had a short break before jumping in to give a tour of Mark Twain cave to 25 people. Once again, we all enjoyed it.

With my day finished, I quickly changed clothing and joined Marilyn on a shopping expedition. We drove to a furniture store to look at some recliners and/or glider rockers. No purchase, just looking!

Walmart was our next stop. We bought a few miscellaneous items and some groceries.

Both of us were starved, so I ordered a pizza while we were still at Wally World, and we picked it up on the way home.

We waited just long enough to get the refrigerated items put away, before we sat down with a plate full of pizza.

We ate until we were stuffed and then Marilyn finished up the kitchen chores and we settled down to watch some TV and enjoy the night air.

I expect that we’ll sleep with the windows open again tonight.

Now we just can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow has in store…..
