|John and I had breakfast at Cala Luna again. Their french toast is unbelievable. After breakfast, John and Trevor swam in the ocean and Tiffany and I hung out at the pool. We were craving burgers so we went the Burger Beach in town. The only thing more pathetic than the sickly looking cows in Costa Rica are the hamburger patties from Burger Beach. I opted for a bagel sandwich at the neighboring snack shack. They claim the burgers were good, but I remain doubtful. However, we did get front row seats to a live Costa Rican telenovela (soap opera) when the server at Burger Beach's boyfriend showed up and broke up with her just as John was ordering his burger (we think there was another woman involved, although Trevor is not as fluent in the Spanish curse words). After lunch we just hung out for a while back at our place while it rained. We took a cab to town for dinner since the dirt roads become disgusting pools of mud and dog feces after a storm. We had a delicious dinner at a restaurant called Dragonfly, followed by gelato.
