We attended a contemporary worship service at First Baptist Church here in Elkhart. There were about 600 in attendance.
Lunch was at Olive Garden. Who wants to cook on Sunday? Not us.
This afternoon we went to a bookstore to find a "thank you" gift for our friends with whom we parked in their driveway. We found what we were looking for: a bird ID book. We will mail that to them in the morning.
There is a reason Glen won't let me be alone in a book store. I could have stacked a dozen books from the "bargain" shelves to buy! But...I didn't. I will read them this winter from the library.
We have had time to read this week. Glen is enjoying having time to start and finish a book.
