Ron & Elena's Odyssey travel blog

(Ron Writing) What a difference a day makes. This morning it was very cloudy and we were under the threat of high wind and heavy rain from another storm moving in from the south. We left Bridgewater heading northwest on Highway 325, then 208 west, and 8 northwest. This drive of about 100 miles took us right across the interior of Nova Scotia, past Kejimkiujik National Park to the north coast. These roads curve around through very hilly farm country. We saw very little crop land but there were some dairy herds, pastures, and hay fields.

Reaching St. Marys Bay we headed southwest on Highway 101 to Digby. All the way we drove through light rain until we neared Digby and then the rain was quite heavy. We stopped by Wal*Mart and are parked there for the night. This evening the rain was very heavy and the winds are quite strong and gusty also.
