I woke up at 6:30 this morning and got ready. Noel and I discussed going to the Duomo after school, so I left my laptop home. I am so sick of toast it's ridiculous!!! If I never eat toast again after this trip I will be very happy!! Presentations were finished today in deaf culture, which was basically a review of intro to interpreting. LIS class was shorter today because Luigi had to catch a bus. It was a half day so we all ate lunches and could go off wherever we want. My lunch that I got was weird!! I don't really know what kind of sandwiches they were...one was like tuna with capers or something. Then there was a peach and a questionable pastry. Noel and I went to Piazza Gramschi to buy our bus tickets to Florence for the next day. Then we went to the grocery store where I got an apple, which I ate on the way to the duomo. We took pictures and then climbed the wall. We weren't actually climbing a wall, it was stairs on the inside, but it is a wall outlining the beginning of an expansion for the church, which was never finished. They had to stop construction due to the plague. To get to the wall, you have to go through a museam. It is very interesting. One room had container things that held a saints skull and bones. Another had a forearm and hand. It was so gross!! We had to climb these narrow spiral stairs to get to the top of the wall. Noel was a little scared of the stairs, which I thought was a little funny so I took a picture of her! (Love you Noel!) It was so worth it!! The view on top of the wall was breathtaking!! That word doesn't even describe it well enough!! We took a million pictures!! We got some sandwiches for dinner and sat at the del campo. There was a magic show going on, so it was more like a dinner theatre! Then I went home and packed my stuff for Firenze (Florence) before going to sleep.
