Hilzberry Travels travel blog

August 27 – Thursday

Feels like fall is here today. It was cool overnight so the first night we put on our little heater in the 5th wheel. It was 13 degrees and sunny as we started out this morning from our campground near Montreal. We followed the Trans Canada Highway from Montreal to Quebec city, the terraine becoming flatter as we travelled away from the St. Lawrence, again seeing beautiful corn crops and fields of harvested wheat. It was a 238 km drive, getting us to our next stop at Levi, Quebec by noon and campground at Camping Transit. Some of us took a drive in to Levi to get some groceries and check out the ferry for tomorrow. We plan on touring Old Quebec tomorrow and seeing some surrounding attractions as time permits.
