Well, I've done leg 1, and tomorrow we leave, apparently at 7 am, from Jasper for Chetwynd, via Prince George, were we will find decorative chain for Clare (not easy to come by in Whitehorse, apparently). We've had a royal send-off, like only small towns do, with well-wishes from all. We've just finished a clean-out-the-fridge dinner, and still need to have a 'stir-fry egg +' breakfast! But after today, we have no responsibilities (no dog-walking, no garden-watering, no lawn-mowing); we just need to make each other happy for three weeks. Easy! So far, I've managed to comandeer most of the car for my stuff, but as Clare says, the princess needs her shoes! Larry, in true guy style, will pack in the morning. How the hell do they do that!! Apparently, cell phone access is limited in the north, ie north of PG, so I don't know about web access. But we'll update when we can. So, off we go, into the wild blue yonder. We are both excited and looking for adventure! Yippee!!!
