Alright,
Been to St. Moritz - HUGELY, OUTRAGEIOUSLY expensive. We're talking postcards, for $1.40, youth t-shirt for $27.00 and a hackey sack with the Swiss emblem for $9.50. With our hotel fee, we got free pasess to use the buses, trains, cable cars, gondolas, etc. to the mountian peaks within the area. Needless to say, we took advantage of that - and no dining out. Our dinners were fromt he supermarket which was still expenseive with peaches and grapes for $4.00-pound!
The first day, we went to the top of one mountain, Piz Nair. The next day we went tot hte top of Diavellozi and a nice man from San Fransisco told us that that peak was the most boring one in the region! He told us to go to Cavatsch, whihc we did after Diavellozi, but it was too cloudy and couldnät see anything! Diavellozi was beatufiul though, where the picture of us kissing is!
Arrived in Freiburg now and will go sight seeing tomorrow. Lots of driving today, but happy to get to more affordable conditions!!! aned still nice weather! We saw sunflower fields, cabbage fields, a few vineyards and hops field along the way. Corn and cows too, but there is an abundance of those in Iowa. Although, these cows actually wear cowbells - big ones and you can here them ring. Greg says to riterate that i said BELLS, not BALLS. It is quite neat and beautiful! Will write more later!!
again, HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSAY TO JEFF AND ASHLEI AND HAPPY 40th ANNIVERARY TO JIM AND ANDY!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!
