Both in terms of achievements and answers!! Drove down to Bari as planned, as we were a day ahead of schedule we wanted to get to Croatia a day early, so we got to ferry office at 2pm no probs but then found out it didn’t open until 6.30pm. So back to the van and into Bari centre. Spent the next 2 hours traipsing around Bari to try to find a MacDonald’s for an Internet connection. Finally found it, checked they had wireless, Yes they had! got our milkshakes then sat down to start uploading blogs but more importantly do the work that Michael needed following calls from the UK from a client. Guess what? You have to subscribe and to do so you need an Italian mobile number!!! Also, no internet cafes anywhere. Italians and internet do not mix! Back to ferry port – waited until the ticket office opened and yes, we could sail tonight, oh wait, no, we could but no room for the motor home!! Off we set to try to find a campsite which we did and rather successfully so – right on the coast and our pitch is practically at the waters edge. Just got back from drinking a bottle of wine sitting at the waters edge listening to the lapping waves. So, not a bad end to a bit of a crappy day!! Oh, and I discovered 39 pence wine and yes it’s like vinegar but with a 7up top it’s delish!! Bring it on!!
Weather: Hot hottest day ever!
