Anna and Michael's Euro Road Trip 2009 travel blog

Upon arrival in Dunkerque we needed diesel. So the hunt began. We soon located an out of town business park with a massive hyper marche for obligatory bread stick, wine, beer and cheese. The staple diet of the gods!

A full fridge and full tank of diesel it was off in the direction of Oostend and then on to Luxembourg. Weather got progressively worse, with the morning mist clearing to reveal more fog! So after lunch at an Aire we sacked off staying at campsite and decided to motor on, see where we ended up!

Well this turned into an epic journey. 585 miles covered so far and now we find ourselves back in France just south of Epinal at another Aire du service. As we type there is a thunder and lightning storm on overhead which makes it all very cosy inside our little motorhome!

So now just catching up after a delicious sweet and sour chicken dinner with some rose d’anjou special at €1.60! Heaven!

Early night tonight to catch up on our missed sleep from the night befores rush down to Dover from Nottingham….the vino should help the zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tommorow another day!

Epinal overnight in Aires!

Luxembourg was wet and foggy
