We've been in St Martin's for three days now and enjoying our rest time. We walked yesterday for miles along the beach in the morning the weather was fantastic. We've have been meeting lots of people here and having great campfires in the evenings.
The morning sunrises have been absolutely beautiful a brillant orange it's hard to stay in bed you want to just get up and sit and watch it rise. The song "Oh how great is our God" comes to mind each time I see the sunrise that he could of created something so beautiful.
We have met a couple from Ontario named Linda & Henry, they do a lot of travelling overseas doing volunteer work. Linda went to Maylasia right after the Sumnami she said it was worst than she had ever imaged. Her job there was to take apart the coffins that had been sent over and could not be used because they had to do mass graves. They used the wood from the coffins to help build homes. They are on a healing prayer team that travels around teaching and ministrying. They are feeling God's calling on them to full-time Rv'ing they are feeling that he wants them to reach out further than what they have been. They just dropped off a group of 8 leaders of their youth group to a camp in Fredericton so they will be here the same amount of time as us.
We met our other neighbours yesterday and it ends up her son lives in Kelowna right behind the airport. It sure shows how small this country is.
Yesterday afternoon Brian and I went to the very small golf course here at the Rv park. We practiced our pitch n' putting I guess we're trying to warm up for Florida. Let's just say we were lousy! I guess we need more practice we'll go out this afternoon again.
Last night we went out for dinner just down the road and had a great meal. It's just a small restaurant owned and operated by a local family here in St. Martins. We sat at a table next to three guys who end up in some round about way being related to the owners. Anyways we talked for them for awhile and when they left they invited us back to their place for a drink we had to say no because we had a commitment here at the park. But I still at times get surprised our friendly and how people from here open their homes to you.
Well not much happening so will let you go for now and will update later if anything exciting happens.
