On August 4th we left home for 3 months. That sure did feel strange. To begin our trip we went to Charleston, SC to go to Ray's cousin's wedding. Congratulations Nicole and Kris! What a great place to start. Charleston was beautiful and we enjoyed being with family.

The campground we stayed at was in James County Island State Park. This campground will be hard to beat. The sites were nice, there were miles of great walking/biking trails, an awesome playground, a small water park, an underground fountain that sprayed water you could run through, and it was only ten minutes away from a beach and downtown Charleston. We were also able to go to Patriots Point, the Battery, and Fort Sumter where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.
