We left Colorado Heights around 1100 and began our trip to the other side of the trees to visit with my brother Greg. Peyton isn't far if you are a bird, but driving took close to 2 hours.
Greg and his wife Teresa have a lovely home on 30 acres in Peyton, CO
Lots of trees and fresh air and bugs......giant ones. He can keep those. He looks happier then I have seen him in years. Him on his little tractor!!
He even has RV parking, it is only waiting for the cement. He has a older RV that he leaves parked in Denver so he can use it if he has to work late or the weather is bad.
We had a lovely site, 30 amp electricity, and laundry facilities. Not a bad deal.
I was finally able to meet his dog Sterling. What a guy!! He treated Benjy like a new toy. Very gentle! Benjy followed him around like a shadow. I think he really enjoyed being leashless.
We were only able to stay a few days. Greg had to go back to work and we had reservations in Gunnison.
Thanks, Greg. We had a wonderful time. Maybe next time we can plan better and you and Teresa can tag along to Gunnison with us. That would be cool.
Until next time.....
