Tribute to Michael Jackson in Lobby of Hall of Fame

Bon Jovi's Motorcycle on display in exhibit hall!

Arrived at 11AM and stayed until 5:30PM. There were 6-levels at the Hall of Fame to see! You need two days to see all the exhibits. No photos were allowed inside, but I did get a photo of Bon Jovi's motorcycle.

Enjoyed all, but especially the Bruce Springsteen featured exhibit on levels 5 and 6. Many of his songs were displayed with his handwriting in notebooks. He rewrote his songs many times before finalizing. His band members were acknowledged in the many displays. Danny Federici from Flemington had a nice exhibit that highlighted his beginnings and experiences in Hunterdon County area. Bruce Springsteen played Richmond VA area and Rutgers many times in beginning.

Was surprised about the artistic talents of Jimi Hendrix whose drawings were displayed. Viewed video of his dad describing his first guitar purchase. Jim Morrison of the Doors had a nice exhibit. His parents provided the material which showed his life from birth to his burial in Paris.

Both of these exhibits made you feel sad because they died so young and had much left to give. There were many historical displays on the beginnings and eras that influenced rock and roll. Michael Jackson's costumes from his videos were displayed along with his famous white glove. A memorial was set up for him at the entrance.
