A "Do-Nothing" Day
Aug 7, 2009
|I awoke at 2:18 AM and had some difficulty getting back to sleep. I lay in bed thinking about the different campgrounds that we have stayed in. I think those thoughts were triggered by Howard’s blog rating the campgrounds they have stayed in.
Check out Howard’s blog at http://www.rv-dreams.typepad.com/
Anyway, I lay there in the dark, trying to remember each of the campgrounds we have visited over the past three years, or almost three years.
We will celebrate our three year anniversary as full-time RV’ers on Sept 21st.
Once I got out of bed this morning, I sat at the computer trying to list the Campgrounds, RV Parks and RV Resorts we have stayed at. I came up with only 32 different locations.
We are creatures of habit and we stay at the same place multiple times as we pass through or stay at the same areas.
After sharing our morning coffee, Marilyn & I took our morning walk. Two and a half miles later we were back.
It was a magnificent day, weather wise. We had extremely comfortable temperatures, low humidity, and a nice breeze all day today.
Jim & I continued our Wii golf competition today with me winning the first match by one stroke and Jim cleaning my clock in the second match.
Later the four of us, Jim & Linda and Marilyn & me, sat outdoors with a cold drink, talking and enjoying each other’s company.
When we came back indoors, Marilyn fixed some hot dogs for our dinner.
Now we are just relaxing and plan to watch some TV tonight before going to bed for the night.
It was a day when we had nothing important to do. Now we’ll have to wait for morning to see what adventures that day might have in store…..
