|We drove to a small Victorian town named Ferndale. There were a lot of little shops for us to walk around. We ended up in a beeswax candle factory and bought some candles. There were multiple people who realized Jon’s accent; he wasn’t too thrilled he was trying to blend in with the locals. We were told by a few people to check out the beach down the street, they said it is the most active earthquake area in the country! It lies on three different fault lines. Then before returning to the hotel we stopped in at Ivanhoe restaurant. It was so good, we even got dessert!
