| July 25, 2009 - Day 23 We drove from Milton FL to Madison FL It was 229 miles from 10:20 am CDT to 3:45 pm EDT 8.7 mpg Temperature range of 68-85 mostly cloudy with a shower or two We drove to Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Campground. We always wanted to visit here but felt it was too far away for a weekend trip. We are still about 375 miles from home for tomorrow's drive. While on I-10 today, friends of ours from Boynton Beach passed us on the highway some 550 miles from home. We also entered back into the eastern time zone. This campground has everything but at the same time is well spread out not to be crowded. Sophie is feeling sick again. I believe it is from all the different water she has been drinking at each campground. Tomorrow will be one last long day but we will be glad to be home. |
