| After leaving Washington, we drove down to Oregon and crossed the northern part of the state on I-84 from Portland. The 1st 100 or so miles travels along the Columbia river and it is beautiful scenery. Dams, mountains and rivers all showing the beauty of our great country. Then lots of MOUNTAINS. This week has been mostly a week of traveling. After Oregon came Idaho and then Utah, and then Wyoming and Nebraska. Tonight we are just east of Des Moines Iowa and hope to make it to Indiana tomorrow and spend a few days with Jerry and Carolyn. It has been hot(90 deg) and our dash a/c is not working and our generator will not start. So I am melting. We got home on August 1st and had a great time |
