Getting ready to board the ferry

Playing games on the ferry

Riding The Cat Ferry back to the U.S.

Today we woke up to a steady drizzle of rain. Even in bad weather, this place is beautiful though! We spent the morning relaxing in the motor home and walking along the docks nearby. Fishing boats were coming in with their catch and it was neat to see them offload. Then we caught the ferry for Bar Harbor, Maine. It was only a 3 ½ hour ride this time. The campground we are staying in is the Bar Harbor KOA and it is right in the water. Most of the sites are very close together here, but we lucked out with a more spacious one. I guess sometimes it pays to have a larger RV! The Jackson’s decided to join us again for this part of our vacations. They are wandering around with no particular destination, so they had gone to New Hampshire while we were in Nova Scotia. Ryan was absolutely thrilled to meet up with then again!!! We didn’t pull in to the campground until around 8:00 and it was raining pretty hard, but once we got set up the kids hung out in their camper and the adults hung out in ours. It was great all around!
