It was 102 when I left Burleson, and my temperature gauge in the truck registered 107 when I passed Wichita Falls, but dropped to 76 up on the cap rock near Claude, influenced by the rain clouds. It rained in TX in July, first time I remember, rain in July, ok it was just few drops, but it counts.
Last night was the first night since Spring I have slept without a air conditioner running, well except the 11 nights in the tent near Hillbilly University in AR, which does not really count, as I am not sure I slept, dreaming about 'Deliverance' the movie.
I am headed to Colorado today, in search of cooler weather and Ben.
Have a great day and pray for rain, peace, and safe travel.
Love to all.
Harold
