Good Evening. After 2 weeks of canoe camp and 1 week of non water camp, I am ready to travel. Charlotte and I celebrated my Birthday at camp with a ice cream cake she brought to me. We had to slice the cake to allow it to fit in the trailer freezer, and oh yes, we had to eat part of it immediately. One of the advantages of living 66 years, and there are many, is taking multiple pills twice daily, which requires a large pill reminder box. I have discovered that the pill box also is great for identification of the day of the week, which is important for a retired person. Camp pictures are included on this post.
I am embarking on an 8 week or so trip to Alaska via Colorado to see Ben. Charlotte is joining me at Calgary on July 30th and will accompany me for a couple of weeks, returning from Anchorage on the 14th of August. I have a fly fishing trip beginning on Aug 16th at the Bear Claw Lodge Alaska. I return to Anchorage on the 21st, heading home down the Alaska Hwy around the 22nd.
I hope you all are well and enjoy our adventure to Alaska.
God Bless.
Harold
PS.After our camp trip, I am now able to say I have a Sister who has been bitten by a poisonous snake. If only I could participate in a meeting where we needed to tell the group something about our selves that others would not know about us.
